Question 1

Okay, what exactly is The Schmear?

Accepted Answer

The Schmear is our whipped cream blush, inspired by our family's Sunday tradition of bagels + schmear. It's a cloud-like cream that melts into skin for effortless, buildable color on cheeks, lips and lids. One little pot, three jobs.

Question 2

How do I apply it?

Accepted Answer

With your finger or a dense brush, tap it onto your cheeks, then press and blend upward and outward. Start with a light layer and build as you go. No mirror, no overthinking required. Some people like a little extra schmear.

Question 3

Can I really use it on my lips and eyes too?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Cheeks, lips, lids. It's made to be tapped on anywhere you want a little warmth. Cream blush on the lips gives that soft, stained look, like you just finished a really good bagel.

Question 4

What does it look and feel like on?

Accepted Answer

Whipped and creamy in the pot, velvety matte on the skin. It blends seamlessly and builds beautifully, from a soft, natural flush to a bolder pop. Totally your call.

Question 5

Which shade should I get?

Accepted Answer

Four shades, four personalities. Schmooze is a light, warm peach that loves warm and neutral undertones. Mazel is a cool, medium rose that flatters cool and neutral undertones. Kvell is a cool berry plum that's gorgeous on medium to deep skin. Chutzpah is a deep, warm terracotta made for warm undertones. Still deciding? Take our quiz, it'll set you right up.

Question 6

Fair skin? Deep skin? Will it actually show up on me?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every shade is buildable, soft and sheer in one layer, richer as you tap on more. On fair skin, start light. On deeper skin, build it up and the color comes through fully. The Schmear doesn't play favorites.

Question 7

What's in it?

Accepted Answer

The good stuff: oat kernel flour, honey, passion fruit seed oil, apple seed oil and pomegranate seed oil. Fragrance free, no parabens, no essential oils, no nonsense. Every ingredient is listed right on the product page.

Question 8

How much product do I get?

Accepted Answer

Each pot holds 0.21oz / 6g of The Schmear, made in France. A little goes a long way, this is a buildable cream, not a paint job.

Question 9

Sensitive skin? Join the club.

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Schmear is dermatologist-reviewed and gentle enough for sensitive skin. Because life's irritating enough.
